Bill and Murray are an eclectic synth pop band based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Using an old synthesizer, a drum machine and a distorted guitar sound, they lead the listener through the magical realms of alternative pop. In their own unique way they face deep and emotional topics, expressing them with confident, serene and uplifting flavors.
The duo was formed by the musicians David Blau and Stella Gotshtein as an artistic experiment in 2012, and quickly expanded into a full quartet after synth player Nimrod Katzir and drummer Ran Jacobovitz joined the line-up.
In the past year, the band have gained local recognition and collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Israeli music industry, such as Rona Kenan, Noam Rotem and Rockfour. They’ve opened for the legendary Gary Numan and participated in some of the trendiest festivals in Israel, Europe and Canada.
This year the band will be releasing their debut album and touring Eastern Europe.
