The story of Mise En Scene (or M*E*S) started way back in 1996. Some kids formed a trashy punkband in their hometown Deinze (Belgium). However, after a few local shows and a demotape, the band decided in 2000 that the journey was over.
In 2002, the band reformed and started using ska-music as an influence. Influenced by bands like The Clash & Rancid, the band soon started to record a new EP. This EP resulted in lots of shows around Belgium. Soon the band started to work on their first full-lenght album, "Let the Good Times Roll" (2004)
And the Good Times did roll... The album was released by a German label, and soon the band started to tour everywhere in Europe: Germany, the UK, France, Czech Republic, Poland, the Balkan-countries etc.
An EP, "One Way" was released in April 2017. This album sold out in a mere 4 months after releasing this, and was re-released in October 2017, with a vinyl-version released in early 2018 on UK-label Bad Granola Records.
With 9 people on stage, M*E*S continues to unleash one helluva party upon you. Enjoy!
