“I thought it would be nice to try to learn a song in Latvian seeing as I had a few gigs out there. I couldn’t manage the whole thing (maybe next time) but tried to learn the chorus. The original is by a band called Brainstorm (Prāta Vētra) who were the first ever Latvian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 with their song ‘My Star’.
