The Sunburst is an Italian rock band created in Savona in 2012 by Davide Crisafulli (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Luca Pileri (lead guitar), the other components of the band are Stefano Ravera (drums) and Francesco Glielmi (bass).
In 2014 the personality and professionalism of the band, combined with quality music, attracts the attention of the independent record label Red Cat Records, which decides to release their debut album, Tear off the darkness. The cd is distributed in Italy by Audioglobe and on all the major web portals worldwide by The Orchard.
The musical style of the band stands out thanks to the melodic taste that acts like a catalyst for the different musical differences that coexist within the quartet. The nuances that characterize The Sunburst go from modern hard rock to post-grunge, from stoner rock to alternative metal.
Very well received by national and foreign press, Tear off the darkness has allowed the band to be selected for major events in Italy, including the MACHETE FEST 2014, MISCELA ROCK FESTIVAL, GREEN FESTIVAL, sharing the stage with Italian and International acts such as PRIMAL FEAR, PUNKREAS, CAYNE, ANDEAD, ALTERIA, RICHIE RAMONE, historical RAMONES drummer, and many more.
